Puppy Head Start
Going out of town or just need help getting your pup started? Your puppy can stay with us as long as you would like.
Our Puppy Head Start program is available for puppies between 8 and 15 weeks of age. While they are at their most critical stage of development and learning, we will begin introducing basic puppy obedience such as name recognition, walking on a leash, toys, sit, come, place, and down, as well as crate and potty training.
Your puppy will work on training in multiple locations to encourage confidence building and proper socialization. We will adjust the program to meet your pup’s unique learning style as every puppy learns differently and has their own personality. Every puppy’s progress will also be different. We recommend at least 3 weeks for our Puppy Head Start program, but your puppy can stay for as short or as long a stay as needed.
We work closely with every pup’s family to help encourage success and progress after their departure from our care.
Once your puppy has reached 16 weeks of age and has completed all of their vaccinations, our In-Home Board & Train or standard Board & Train programs will be available to continue their training.
If your puppy requires their next set of vaccinations while in our care we will schedule their visit with our recommended veterinarian West Forsyth Animal Hospital at the owners expense.
